Phil is an attorney at Chestnut Cambronne and focuses his practice on class action and complex civil litigation. Phil has been a part of a litigation team that challenged wage and hour practices across the country. He has litigated dozens of class and collective actions for delivery drivers and restaurant workers and was able to obtain millions in recovery for minimum wage workers. For his work, Phil was selected as a Super Lawyer Rising Star for 2020, 2021, and 2022.
Phil combines his legal acumen with an outgoing and welcoming personality. He is equipped to litigate a class action case from inception through final approval. He is no stranger to the courtroom and seeks out opportunities to advance his client’s position through oral argument. Indeed, federal judges have acknowledged Phil’s “high level of expertise” in court orders. During law school, Phil was awarded the Judge Joseph Harper Memorial Award for Excellence in Trial Advocacy. In addition to his work as an attorney, Phil serves as a volunteer lawyer for a non-profit and coaches a high school mock trial team. Outside of the office, Phil enjoys skiing, hockey, running, and exploring Minneapolis’ brewery and restaurant scene.
