Lena Brakel is an associate attorney at Chestnut Cambronne specializing in family law. With a keen interest in finding creative solutions to family law disputes, Lena hopes to earn a reputation as a compassionate and skilled advocate.
Lena graduated from the University of St. Thomas School of Law in 2022 and was admitted to the Minnesota Bar that same year. After law school, she clerked for the Honorable Referee Rebecca Rossow in Ramsey County Family Court observing and working on a variety of family law cases, including divorce, child custody, third party custody, child support, spousal maintenance, post-decree issues, and Orders for Protection.
Lena is member of the Volunteer Lawyer’s Network and participates in the Hennepin County Family Law Clinic, volunteering her time and expertise to assist individuals and families in need. She is also a volunteer investigator for the Office of Lawyers Professional Responsibility Fourth District Ethics Committee.
Lena graduated from the University of Minnesota in 2018 with a Bachelor of Individualized Studies in Linguistics, German, and Political Science and a minor in Environmental Policy. In her free time, Lena enjoys spending time outdoors, trying new recipes or restaurants, and spending time with her husband and their Great Dane, Rocco.
