Jeffrey Bores is a partner and shareholder at Chestnut Cambronne, which has served as lead counsel in several major class action lawsuits, including In re Xcel Energy Securities Litigation, In re UnitedHealth Group, Inc. Shareholder Derivative Litigation, and Allianz Life. Prior to joining the firm, he clerked for the Honorable Doris Ohlsen Huspeni, Judge of the Minnesota Court of Appeals. For over a decade, Jeffrey was an adjunct professor at William Mitchell College of Law, teaching Constitutional Law Powers, Legal Writing and Research, and Appellate Advocacy. He has also lectured nationally to law students for the Council of Legal Education Opportunity Thurgood Marshall Legal Education Opportunity Program. He co-authored The Minnesota Divorce Revolution (2d ed. 1995). Outside of his law practice, Jeffrey owns taraNa, a yoga studio in Southwest Minneapolis. The studio was named "Best Yoga Studio" by City Pages in 2009. He is also Chair of the Board of Directors of the Twin Cities Gay Men’s Chorus, which in the past year has performed with the Minnesota Orchestra and has had performances at its season home at Ted Mann, at the Guthrie Theater, and at Orchestra Hall.
